Start Up Podcast PH is a podcast featuring conversations with Filipino startup founders. It exists to talk about the innovation, story, and the purpose of Philippine start ups in helping build the Filipino society. It is hosted by Janni Boydon, an assistant professor in UP Diliman. Ecosystem partners include PhilDev Foundation, IdeaSpace Philippines, QBO Innovation Hub. It is also recognized by DICT's Startup Pilipinas.

OUR VIRTUAL CAREER FAIRS

VCA Summit 2021 and 2022 were two of the company’s virtual career fair projects with themes on Digital Transformation and Sustainability. It provided the opportunity to make career coaching more accessible to people in need all while providing an end-to-end employability and employment process from figuring out their career path to landing a job. Participants who went experienced practice interviews, resume workshops, virtual job booths, career talks, and an online raffle.

These combined runs saw the support of Microsoft Philippines, several community partners ranging from university student organizations, JCI organizations, ROTARACT organizations, and AIESEC Philippines. The initiatives boasted an outcome of more than 17 industry speakers, 1,000+ participants, 150,000+ people reached, 25,000+ engagements, 20+ companies and employers,

and 100+ job openings.

In this episode, POP!corn just got back from a quick hiatus with a little 'Soul' searching to help things get back on track. Cholo Sediaren and guest co-host Danica Octa explores the themes presented in Pixar's Soul: what it means to find a life of purpose and balance, career hugots, and life advice for those who are also trying to find their way in life.

Arise Ye! Boost Accelerator
Program 2022

Chosen as one of the twelve local startups announced to join the 14-week virtual program, which aims to prepare Filipino youth-run enterprises for internationalization.

Funded by the European Union and implemented by the ITC, the ARISE Plus YE! Boost Accelerator Program seeks to provide targeted support to address critical gaps to participation in global value chains that are hindering exports in priority products or industries, through linkages with EU industry, especially concerning inclusive innovation and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Particularly, the program aims to equip youth-led Filipino startups with the relevant skills to boost their competitiveness, such as digital skills and building familiarity in the EU market.

MARKETECH APAC aims to create an ecosystem where brands, agencies, media and tech companies have an equal voice to share and learn from one another. The media company delivers the latest marketing news, trends, and best practices that serve everyone in the industry whether they are from small or big enterprises.

The coaching industry, while a booming industry, is still a sector that offers massive room for exploration. Coaching, or which may sometimes look to as therapy - the much stronger household name for many - started out as a service perceived to be a ‘luxury’, where people saw it as a non-essential and a service only requiring additional expense. After all, the success of coaching is dependent on the client’s life ‘struggles’ and it’s easy for prospective clients to dismiss a service which presents itself as a solution to something the client has ‘complete control’ over.
